NH Dance Project Gets These Kids Groovin’
This Boys and Girls club program in Milford is giving more youngsters the opportunity to express themselves.
A new dance program at the local Boys and Girls club is giving kids the opportunity to tap into the world of dancing.
The NH Dance Project at the Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley is an enrichment program that offers classes on a wide variety of dance styles. Director Liz Calabria currently has over 40 kids enrolled in dance moves like from tap, musical theater and hip hop.
Calabria, who is the assistant director at Kathy Blake Dance studios, wanted to bring the motivating power of dance to a wider audience. She has been teaching dance for over 25 years and choreographed numerous shows in the area.
