Kelly Carpentier
Kelly Carpentier brings with her many years of experience in Tap, Musical Theatre, Beg/Int Hip Hop, and Lyrical/Contemporary styles. Kelly began her training at local dance studios in Massachusetts, and went on to major in Dance at Dean College. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s degree she moved to NYC to pursue a career in performance, choreography and teaching. Kelly has been a member of multiple professional tap companies in NYC including Undertoe Dance Project, Astoria Tap Crew, Ya’el Tap, and was the Dance Captain of #taplife Company which also had her overseeing multiple pre-professional companies along the East Coast. Some of Kelly’s favorite performances have been; “Miles of Styles” at Lincoln Center, Queens Tap Extravaganza, the Inaugural NYC Mardi Gras, NYC Choreographers Forum, and most recently the Provincetown Dance Festival with DrumatiX. Kelly is currently a teacher and choreographer for many dance institutions in and around NYC and a member of DrumatiX Dance and Percussion company based in Boston. Kelly is excited to help build both our recreational and competitive programs, and is looking forward to getting to meet and work with you all.
