Kathy is widely respected for her extensive life-long training in classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz as well as Ballroom dancing in both International and American Styles. She is nationally known for the “Let’s Learn How to Dance” instructional tapes and has taught and performed extensively in her career. She has been regularly featured in various articles for Dance Teacher Magazine including “Ask the Experts”. Kathy’s workshops have been presented at Dance Media’s Dance Teacher Summit, Dance Master’s of America and other prestigious workshops and conventions. Kathy, with her daughter Suzanne, founded DanceStudioOwner.com, an online membership community and business resource for studio owners worldwide. Kathy was a long time member of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston. Kathy has her Master of Arts degree in Psychology and greatly enjoys coaching and managing a great team of talented staff and faculty. The students of KBDS never cease to thrill and delight her as she passes on the tradition of great dance education and studio management. Kathy enjoys theatre, travel, cooking, reading, long walks, spending time with family and friends, and, of course, dancing!
