Andrea Sarasin

It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we just say yes instead of no. Being talented is such a gift, but if you’re not open to the ideas of others, then who are you sharing it with?”

Basics:

2012 Graduate of Nashua High School South

Current Student at the Young Americans College of Performing Arts

KBDS Roots:

Andrea began dancing when she was just two years old in a Baby Ballet class with Ms. Kathy herself. From then on, Andrea grew up dancing at the studio, dancing many styles such as ballet, contemporary, modern, hip hop, jazz, tap, musical theatre and Irish Step. Dance brings Andrea so much joy, and she was blessed to have traveled to the Dance Excellence Festival in 2008 and in 2011 with the Kathy Blake Dance Companies. Andrea was an assistant teacher, substitute teacher and eventually worked in the front office.

Beyond the Studio:

In high school, Andrea participated in a few workshops with the Young Americans at Milford High School. This group really inspired her, so after graduating in 2012, Andrea joined the Young Americans to pursue her passions as a performer. She currently lives in California, training in vocals, dance and acting. This Summer 2015, Andrea is on the West Coast Summer Camp cast. Andrea plans to continue on with the Young Americans in 2016. Andrea believes that a great performer must be well-rounded. She says that your work ethic and personality will always help you get a job over another person.
