KBDS Roots:
Aislinn started her training at KBDS when she was six years old. Over the years, she danced many styles including ballet, pointe, contemporary, hip hop, jazz and modern. However, Aislinn took a special interest in ballet as her training became more serious. Aislinn was a member of the Kathy Blake Dance Companies for a five years, and competed with the studio in our very first dance competition, Turn It Up Dance Challenge in Lowell, MA.
Beyond the Studio:
While still training at KBDS, Aislinn attended the Boston Ballet summer program in 2010. After deciding that she was very serious about ballet, she began training with the Southern New Hampshire Youth Ballet. With SNHDT, Aislinn attended Regional Dance America multiple times. Aislinn has broadened her training and ability at summer programs for Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Joffrey West Los Angeles, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Currently, as a college student, Aislinn’s dance training takes place with Alonzo King LINES Ballet through Dominican University. After graduating from LINES’s partner university, Aislinn hopes to forge a career as a professional contemporary ballet dancer.
